5. They decorate houses with decorations typically imagery associated with supernatural beings such as witches, werewolves, vampires and ghosts, and also images that symbolize bad omen such as black cats, bats, and spider.
6. The jack-o’-lanter is traditionally a hollowed-out pumpkin carved to resemble a grotesque face and illuminated by a candle placed inside. It’s name derives from a character in British folktales.
